PLA is a biodegradable and compostable material made by fermenting corn, sugar cane and sugar beet starch. Contains no melamine, BPA, lead, phthalates, PVC or mercury. But at the same time, it is extremely durable, giving the utensils resistance to breakage and ensuring a longer life.
